procrastination – the act of procrastinating; putting off or delaying or defering an action to a later time

Pe cat de ciudat vi se pare termenul “procrastination” pe atat va este de familiar. Mi se intampla mereu ca sa am un examen, sau sa am de terminat un proiect si sa il las pe ultima clipa. Si poate am fost acuzat de multe ori de prieteni sau parinti ca ma costa ore de somn, de efort inutil, sa las un lucru pentru ultimul moment. Poate si orarul asta de somn aiurea care-l am e tot din cauza asta. Mereu am gandit ca lucrez mai bine sub presiune, mereu am considerat ca iese ceva mai bun atunci cand stii ca trebuie neaaparat sa termini ceva. Uneori functioneaza sa ingrasi porcul in Ajun, si chiar bine. Termenul de “procrastination” nu cred ca exista inca in limba romana, dar poate va fi preluat. Spaniolii l-au preluat (procrastinación). Merita vazut un scurt metraj cu acelasi nume Procrastination realizat de Johnny Kelly ca lucrare de diploma la Royal College of Art.
